As part of ITC’s initiative to recognize and honor Veterans, we are proud to highlight ITC Moms of Heroes.

Brock Hileman, son of Kate Madsen – Production Control Manager, Phoenix, United States Army
Brock Hileman, son of Katie Madsen, was recently sworn into the U.S. Army and will serve his first assignment in Fort Benning, Georgia. If all goes to plan, he will then transition to Ranger training. Currently, Brock is finishing his senior year of high school with two-morning classes. Throughout his teenage years, Brock has participated in high school sports such as swimming, wrestling, cross country, track, pole vaulting and discus.
With a passion for American history and a desire to be the best he can be, Brock is ready for the next chapter in his life, putting himself in the service of this great country.
“Brock has always tried to be a leader and do the right things. He treats people the way he would want to be treated and helps wherever is needed. He is a very proud American and loves history. It is very humbling to see my son grow up to be a good man and I wish he knew how proud his stepdad and I are of him,” said Katie.
Demetrius Chavez, son of Cindy Mada – Inside Sales Executive, Phoenix, United States Army
Demetrius Chavez, son of Cindy Mada, serves in the U.S. Army where he is training to become an “All Wheeled Mechanic.” After he completes Advanced Individual Training (AIT), Demetrius will attend Airborne School to get his ‘silver wings.’ He recently received a Certificate of Achievement and was given The Army Physical Fitness Badge for getting a max score of 100 points in three different events for an overall score of 300 points.
Only a month after Demetrius graduated from Central High School in Phoenix, he joined the Army. He graduated Basic Combat Training from Fort Jackson, South Carolina in September at the top of his class. He loves to play basketball and work out to stay at the top of his physical fitness.
Demetrius plans to continue his career with the Army, hoping to one day make Sergeant in about two years.
“His Sergeant Major made sure to let me know that he sees great things ahead for Demetrius if he continues with the enthusiasm and dedication he has started out with,” said Cindy. “This was a great honor to be approached individually and told this. We are very proud of him.”
We are so proud of both Demetrius and Brock and are honored to have their moms Cindy and Kate as part of the ITC family! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
